I really love games like "The Last of us".This type of game give me the vibe of mystery, unknown, exploration etc.I also like bloody scenes or murder scenes made as 3D environment. So, i wanted to make this environment to tell a subtle, psycological crime story. The rooftop is the main focus where our story unfolds. It seems clean at first glance with some urban decay, csual array and small unsettling details which slowly emerges once you explore the environment.
The narrative i wanted to tell here is , where a crime happened. Someone took someone's life. The killer here is not impulsive but meticulous. They are clean, even elegant in execution.Yet, every crime has their own identity. The blod stains which are almost dry and apparent proof of the crime that was committed. The bloody handprint on the door, the blood soaked footsteps are the proofs that maybe first time in their life the criminal made a mistake which will haunt them forever. They thought the rooftop is beyond other's reach and a perfect place to stash the body and the evidence. The wrapped body hiding behind the junk piles is the proof .
My goal was to balance environment storytelling with restraint, guiding viewers to gradually uncover the story on their own and at their own pace, much like the games that inspired me to make this environment piece like "The Last Of Us".
